 a) Velocity   V = \(\sqrt { 2gh} \) = \(\sqrt { 2( 3.7) ( 239) } \) = 42.05 m/s.    

b) From  H = \(\frac { gt^ 2} { 2} \),  the time  t = \(\sqrt { \frac { 2H} { g} } \) = \(\sqrt { \frac { 2( 239) } { ( 3.7) } } \) = 11.37 seconds.
